CCME INSTRUCTORS:
Carolina Continuing Massage Education is committed to providing fine Instructors who present quality seminars that enhance and enrich the practice of massage and body work. Directors June Lordi and Shellie Enteen have been nationally approved NCBTMB continuing education ( CE ) teachers and members of AMTA for over ten years. This brought them into contact with wonderful instructors and topics, and many of these providers were happy to come on board and teach for CCME in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. Research and recommendations yielded other quality teachers and topics. Whenever possible, CCME looks for NCBTMB approved Instructors from the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast U.S. to further support the massage talent in this region.

CURRENT INSTRUCTORS
Joseph has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the field of Therapeutic Massage and exercise physiology. His certifications include: exercise specialist with advanced training from YMCA, USA, aquatic instructor, AEA, and certification in Neuromuscular Therapy from the Paul St. John School in 1986. Joseph was a teacher of Anatomy and Physiology at American Massage Schools in Fort Lauderdale Florida in 1987 and an Adjunct Instructor at Palm Beach Community College, Lake Worth, Florida from 1990 to 1994. He has been a provider of continuing education courses approved by the Florida Department of Health since May 2001 and an approved provider of NCBTMB Cat A courses since 2005. He travels extensively in the U.S. giving his three day workshops and has an active practice in Broward and Palm Beach County Florida where he also gives many local presentations at libraries and bookstores to better educate the public on the benefits of massage therapy. As a CE teacher, his mission is to enhance the knowledge of massage therapists so that they will be more effective in their work.

Janet began her studies in therapeutic massage at Guilford Technical Community College. She later attended Mueller College, where she completed 2000 hours in western and oriental holistic practices, including acupressure and was an instructor there for 3 years. In 2000, Janet worked with the US Summer Olympic Team. She has worked with major resort spas in NC and was the director of The Grandover. She is currently the Executive Director of Natural Touch Schools of Massage and Esthetics. She has conducted workshops for the NC AMTA, TMTI, Alabama School of Massage in Madison and 2 schools in Tennessee.

Shellie Enteen, BA, LMBT is passionate about education and holistic health. She received her BA in English and Fine Arts at NYU and later studied massage at the Swedish Institute in NYC. Shellie moved to south Florida in 1987 where she worked at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, had a busy private practice and began teaching NCBTMB approved Continuing Education Classes in Aromatherapy and the Aromatherapy Full Body Technique both in the US and abroad.
She became a Regional Director and later, Board Member of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. Shellie writes the ongoing column "The Aromatic Message" in Massage Today magazine. Other articles have appeared in local magazines and The Aromatherapy Journal.
Shellie maintains a private practice which includes therapeutic massage, Aromatherapy and Jin Shin Jyutsu and teaches in the Massage Department at Greenville Technical College in Greenville South Carolina where she has written and presents the Professional Level Aromatherapy course, one of three such courses offered in college settings in the U.S.

Annie Garic has been interested in health and well-being her entire life. She graduated with a BS degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of New Orleans and a MA degree in Physical Education from Southern Methodist University. She then taught H&PE for ten years. In 1988 she began her study and practice of therapeutic massage. Annie has been a teaching assistant with Advanced Continuing Education since 2004 and in 2007 became a Certified Massage Cupping(TM) Educator.
LYNN HARRIS NCBTMB Provider # 450097-06
Lynn Harris,LMBT, is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, NC School of Natural Healing, and the Upledger Institute. She has been practicing massage since 1980. Lynn Harris has devoted her entire working career to the art and practice of massage therapy. Having started her studies in 1977 with Swedish Massage, Reflexology, and Polarity Massage, Lynn now holds certifications in Neuromuscular Massage, Zero Balancing, and Lomilomi, with advanced training in Craniosacral Therapy, Esoteric Healing, and Deep Tissue Massage.
In 1990, Lynn studied the ancient art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Masaage in Hawaii. Since then, she has enjoyed incorporating this modality into her massage practice with phenomenal results. Lynn began teaching Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage in 1994 in Virginia, and she has since taught in Madrid, Spain, Cozamel, Mexico, Tennessee, and Asheville, NC.

June has been involved in Holistic practices for over 35 years. After her trainings in Tai Chi Chuan and Massage Therapy (Downeast School of Massage 1980-1982), she began a massage and Tai Chi practice. June is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (1983), initiating the Maine State Sports Massage Team, Educational Programs, and Legislative Committee. She later became a member of the AMTA National Sports Massage Team and sat on the National Sports Massage Education Committee. June has taught for schools, massage organizations, medical communities and private facilities throughout the US and Canada. She has produced a manual and a video/DVD called Tai Chi Massage.
June currently resides in the Greenville SC area, teaching classes in massage therapy and Tai Chi. She has had an active massage practice for over 25 years, focusing on pain management, injury rehabilitation, athletic performance, pregnancy and infant massage, business practices and more.

Michael McConnell, LMT, CST, NCTMB has worked and taught in the field of Massage Therapy and Stress Management for over 20 years. He is the President of Florida Wellness Centers, Inc., and, in addition to his private practice in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, teaches extensively throughout Florida, Virginia, Maryland and South Carolina. His background as an instructor in Anatomy and Physiology, as well as his advanced clinical training in CranioSacral Therapy, Foot Reflexology, Visceral Manipulation, Muscle Energy Technique and Somatic Therapy brings additional depth to the courses which he teaches.

Barbara Moore has been a practicing Reiki facilitator for 25 years and has been teaching for over 16 years. She is a licensed massage therapist with experience in all forms of massage, including medical massage therapy. Barbara believes that everyone has a natural healing ability and as a Reiki master has helped hundreds of people enhance and enrich these abilities. Her commitment and dedication extends far beyond her work.
STEWART WALKER NCBTMB Provider # 450165-06
For more than 30 years Stewart’s massage therapy practice and teaching have emphasized the use of therapeutic bodywork as a tool for reducing muscular- skeletal pain. His private practice is located near Durham, NC and he teaches Trigger Point Therapy in the Therapeutic Massage Program at Johnston Community College.
